Process

The Process feature helps teams document and follow their core EOS processes in one central place. Use this to create clarity around how work flows, align teams on expectations, and ensure that your EOS processes are followed consistently throughout the organization.

Processes in Success.co are designed to stay simple and practical. They can be updated as the business evolves, helping teams continuously improve without overcomplicating how work gets done.

Add Core Process

Select "Process" from the sidebar and click on Add core process button.

In the pop-up window you can:

  1. Add core process name

  2. Choose what type of process you're going to add: Document or external link

  3. Under Related Teams and Seat: Select which team/s or seat/s must read this process. You can leave them blank or select just one of the two.

  • If you leave TEAMS blank, this process applies to everyone. If a team or teams are selected, only the users part of that team are required to follow this process. Managers of those teams will get access to edit this process.

  • If you select SEATS, only those seat owners must read this process.

Turn ON the Choose multiple button at bottom of each dropdown to select more.

When selecting External link type, you'll be given an additional option to put in your external link. Note that it needs to start with https:// for security.

Add a Champion: A Champion is the single point of accountability for a process. They are responsible for ensuring the process is accurate, clear, and followed, even though they may not personally execute every step.

Every core process should have one Champion so there is clear ownership and no confusion about who maintains it.

Select Visibility:

  • Public - this process can be viewed by everyone

  • Team Only - can be viewed by linked teams and seats

You can also add measurables to your process. Turn ON the choose multiple button from the dropdown if you wish to add more.
