**Add new measurable**

To add your own measurable click the `Add measurable` button in the prompt or at the top right hand side of the screen.

You will then see a popup where you can add the title, an optional description, choose the type of measurable and set the goal. On the right hand side you can select if the measurable is weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually, assign it to a team and give it an owner.

![Add measurable dialog with title, type and goal fields, plus frequency, team and owner settings and a Library button](https://res.cloudinary.com/successco/image/upload/f_auto,q_auto/docs/a_01kc5H9mpCe2K73492aBBtABPp/Screenshot-2025-12-11-at-1-44-01-AM)

**Library**

You can choose from a range of common measurables from our library by clicking the `Library` button. The measurables in the library are split into weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually via the tabs at the top, as well as divided into categories such as Sales and Marketing, Operations and Finance measurables for each time frame.\
\
To add any measurables from the library click the toggle on for the measurables you want to add and select the team and owner you want the measurables to apply to. Then click the `Add {number} measurables` button and they will now appear in your Scorecard™.

## Formulas

You can create formulas in your Scorecard to automatically calculate sums of data in other measurables across teams within your company.

**How to create a formula**

1. Click the `Add measurable` button.
2. Give the formula a title, optional description, owner and select the teams you want the measurable to show on the Scorecard for.
3. Select the formula option from the drop down you will see an `Edit formula` button.

![Add measurable dialog with Formula selected as the type and the Edit formula button highlighted](https://res.cloudinary.com/successco/image/upload/f_auto,q_auto/docs/a_01kC5j7c1x47T3aWcrR7DN6qXW/Screenshot-2025-12-11-at-2-00-21-AM)

1. Use mathematical symbols to build your formula:

   - `+` Add
   - `-` Subtract
   - `*` Multiply
   - `/` Divide
   - `()` Group expressions

An icon will appear on the right hand side to tell you if your formula will calculate correctly or not. If it's working it will show the green Good icon. If there is a mismatch in goal type or an error in the formula it will show as the red Bad icon.

![Edit formula window listing Scorecard measurables, with a formula subtracting New client from New leads generated and a green Good status](https://res.cloudinary.com/successco/image/upload/f_auto,q_auto/docs/a_01KC5jbDf0JC8kGn9YJKV18KYn/Screenshot-2025-12-11-at-2-02-27-AM)

Any measurables that include formulas will be marked with the orange triangle on the top left corner

## Scorecard Measurable Icons

You may notice small icons next to a measurable's title on the Scorecard. These icons provide additional information about the measurable at a glance.

#### Comment icon

The **Comment icon** indicates that a comment has been added to the measurable.

A number next to the icon shows how many comments are currently associated with the measurable.

For example, if you see a comment icon with **1** next to **New client**, this means the measurable has one comment.

#### Description icon

The **Description icon** (shown as horizontal lines) indicates that additional information has been added to the measurable's **Description** field.

This lets you quickly identify measurables that contain additional context or details.

#### Formula icon

The **Formula icon** (shown as a small calculator) indicates that the measurable's type is set to **Formula**.

Formula measurables calculate their values based on the formula configured for the measurable, rather than relying on values being entered manually.

**Tip:** These icons make it easier to identify measurables that contain comments, additional descriptions, or formulas directly from the Scorecard without opening each measurable.
