You need to have people to analyze, so be sure to add your staff members to Success.co before running a People Analyzer session.

Here’s a guide on how to add users:
https://www.success.co/docs/guides/getting-started#add-users

To create your first People Analyzer session click the Add session button in the middle of the screen or the button at the top right in the toolbar.

Once you click Add Session and you do not have any Core Values set up in your V/TO yet, a pop up window will appear prompting you to set up your Core Values first before you can proceed with creating sessions.

When you click the Create Core Values button, you will be routed to the V/TO section.

You can follow this step by step guide on how to set up your V/TO Core Values:
https://www.success.co/docs/guides/vision-traction-organizer#vision

After adding your V/TO Core Values you can go back to the People Analyzer section to start a session.

You will then see a popup where you can give the People Analyzer an optional name. If you don't give it a name it will default to one of the following:

  • Everyone - Date e.g. Everyone - June 02, 2025

  • Marketing Team - Date (Chosen team(s)) e.g. Marketing Team - June 02, 2025

  • 3 people - Date (number of chose individuals) e.g. 3 people - June 02, 2025

You can then select who you want to do the People Analyzer for. You can select from:

  • Everyone (the whole company)

  • Teams (one or multiple teams from your company)

  • Individuals (specific individuals from your company)

Once you have selected the people click the Create session button.

You will then be routed to the session you just created.

You'll see the People Analyzer you have created in the In progress tab.

Click into the People Analyzer and you will see the people you selected have automatically been pulled through. You will also see the core values from the Leadership team across the top of the table. Followed by the Gets it (G), Wants it (W), Capacity to do it (C) section.

For each person you will see:

  • Name

  • Role - If set in the persons settings.

  • An i icon if they have a seat assigned to them in the Accountability Chart. This shows you the seats title and roles and responsibilities for each seat assigned to the person.

  • Buttons for each core value with +, +/- and - options.

  • Buttons for GWC with Y and N options.

The Bar

Before you begin analyzing your people you will need to set the bar to meet the standards you want to assess them against.

If you hover on The Bar at the bottom left of the screen you will see a `Edit1 button that allows you to update it.

You can then edit the value for the number of + and +/- that are allowed. As per EOS® recommendations there are no - scores allowed and GWC is always three yeses.

The Bar you set will be used to calculate whether each person in the People Analyzer is above or below the bar. You will see a green tick icon or red cross icon appear on the persons image once you have filled in all buttons in their row. Each score will also be added to the running total for the group at the bottom right.

Analyzing your people

For each person in the People Analyzer you need to decide if they meet the core value most of the time (+), some of the time (+/-) or none of the time (-) and select that value for each button.

When you select an option the other two values disappear and the button becomes a dropdown list. If you wish to edit your choice just click the selected option and pick a new value from the dropdown list.

Then select Y (yes) or N (no) for the Gets it (G), Wants it (W), Capacity to do it (C) buttons.

If the person meets or exceeds the bar the will receive a green tick icon on the user image. If they are below the bar they will receive a red cross.

Once you have entered values for everyone in the session you can click the Complete button at the bottom right hand corner. You won't be able to complete a session until every person has been fully analyzed.

This will make the session read-only and you will no longer be able to edit the scores.

Completed People Analyzers

You will now see the People Analyzer appear in the Completed tab on People Analyzer home screen. You can still open it for reference but you won't be able to edit anything.

Add a note

You can click the pencil icon next to a user’s name to add a session note. You can also attach files here. Click 'Add Note' to save your entry.

People Analyzer history

Click a user’s name to view their People Analyzer history.

Any session the user has been a part of will be shown in the in-progress or completed tabs. You can add notes to any session whether it is complete or in-progress. If a users score has been filled out completely you will see whether they were above or below the bar for that session.

In-Progress

For in-progress sessions you can see what has been completed so far. You can click on the session name to be taken back to that session if you wish to update the users values.

Completed

For completed session you can click on the session name to be taken back to that session but it will be read-only as it has been completed.

On the right side, you’ll find:

  • User status

  • Teams they belong to

  • Language and timezone settings

  • Date created

If you want to share a People Analyzer with another member of your company you can do this by clicking the paper clip icon which will copy the url.

You can then share this url and anyone of admin or owner permission level will be able to access it. If it is In-progress they will be able to update scores, if it is completed it will be read-only.

Managers will only be able to view links from People Analyzers created by other Managers as read-only.

Implementers will only be able to view the link for any People Analyzer from the company as read-only.
